Nintendo, a Japanese video game developer company had previously announced the secret Nintendo Switch Online: Playtest Program. It is going to be released on October 23 with a note that participating contests will not allowed to circulate any information related to the online test.
Despite this, the content of the website leaked immediately within seconds. Almost 10,000 people participated in the Nintendo Online Playtest, while Nintendo said that it aims to check the mass multiplayer functionality and gaming servers through this test.
According to the leaked reports, Nintendo’s new game description reads “In this game, the goal is to work with others to fully “develop” a massive, expansive planet by utilizing creativity and farming resources. As you progress across the planet, you’ll discover new lands, enemies, and resources that will become essential to your journey”. Many gamers assumed that the game sounds similar to Minecraft.
Moreover, the leaked details revealed the new element named “Beacon”, a most important tool to develop your safe area. Other players cannot edit, steal, or design your things in the Beacon area. While in public areas, everyone can pick, edit, place, and design things.
Another place is “The Dev Core”, a social hub to meet with other players. There you can upgrade your character and find essential things to play this new Nintendo game.
Furthermore, the Nintendo Switch: Online Playtest Program allows you to obtain a UGC license after passing the test. To pass the test, you must answer the given questions correctly and get your UGC license. The good news is that the players can attempt the test as many times as they want.
