Every Kingdom of Power Phase in Kingshot Explained

The Kingdom of Power event is one of the biggest ones to play in Kingshot. Two kingdoms duke it out so players can take sides and get some massive rewards out of them. Through its matchmaking, you’ll be competing against several player armies in PVP, and are able to check how you rank amongst your chosen kingdom. As the game hits its next KvK update soon, here’s everything you need to know about each phase.

💭 What Are the KvK Phases?

After your base becomes about 70 days old, you can be chosen for the Kingdom of Power phases and matchmaking. But what are these phases and kingdoms? Well, you’ll automatically be placed in a kingdom depending on the matchmaking of your base and troop power. This system goes into effect every 4 weeks starting on a Sunday. However, the phases themselves split into how you prepare for the event and PVP. If you’re ever needing an upgrade on Kingshot, we have just the place! Check for our king shot top up now.

The KvK event isn’t all about fighting other players though. Even if you don’t want to battle in PVP, you can help your kingdom out through the Preparation phase. That’s a competition in itself, along with the final phase where you get to rescue injured troops from battle. There’s lots of ways to actively participate in the event no matter your base size and that’s what the phases are for!

↪️ The Matchmaking Phase

During the Matchmaking Phase, you don’t need to worry about doing too much. All this means is that the game will start trying to find another kingdom or player’s base that match’s your power level. Said power is calculated based on the top 100 players in your state, along with their generation or base age. Again, this’ll only take place if your base is at least 70 days old.

📦 The Preparation Phase

For those wanting to get straight into PVP, then I’ve got some unfortunate news for you. After the Matchmaking Phase, we go straight into the Preparation Phase for at least 5 days. Here, players will need to complete a series of quests per day of the Phase to earn points. The kingdom with the most points at the end of the Phase wins!

You don’t need to complete every single quest to win the Preparation Phase, but it’s super important to finish as many as you can. This is because whoever wins this phase gets to attack the losing kingdom first in the Battle Phase, which is next! The winning kingdom also becomes safe during the Battle Phase and can’t be attacked. That’s a guaranteed win for practically the rest of the event!

Each day of the Preparation Phase has different themes for their quests. For example, the first day revolves around constructing buildings around your base, while day 3 is about upgrading and increasing your Pet stats. The same logic applies for the last two days where you have to improve your Hero training and gear before the Battle Phase arrives. Get organized and gather as much points as you can!

⚔️ The Battle Phase

The Preparation Phase is often considered to be the most important part of the whole KvK event, and the Battle Phase proves why. The kingdom that won the Battle phase gets to attack the losing one while they defend themselves. The phase will last for 12 hours only and both players will get to teleport to each other’s kingdoms. However, your goal is to earn points rather than stay alive or destroy the other.

The only time you get to earn points when entering another kingdom is when the Town Center is within 3 levels of yours. If the player that won the Preparation Phase defeats the other kingdom in battle, then they become the High King. If you’re on the defense, your goal is to keep that from happening while earning points in combat. If a player is appointed the High King, they can still lose their status by losing the next fight until the 12 hours run out.

As you fight, you will also have extra battle quests you can complete. They work less as tasks and more as goals for your gathered points to meet. Points are gathered by defeating enemies, winning fights, upgrading turrets, etc. Depending on your worldwide ranking in the end and your points, you’ll be getting some massive rewards like Diamonds and Hero Shards.

🩺 The Field Triage Phase

The Field Triage Phase is basically a time for you to recover your lost troops and materials that you lost in battle. This allows you to put in your full effort in the Battle Phase without worrying about the cost afterwards. About 30% of your troops can be rescued, but this can be increased to 90% using Medical Satchels and potentially through Rescue Orders.

Alliance Members can be given up to 50 Rescue Orders. This can increase your rescue percentage up to at least 50%, which is still a whole lot! The troops recovered during this phase are only the ones completely killed or “fainted” in battle. Those in your Infirmary don’t count and won’t be automatically healed.
