Google released the Pixel 9 series earlier this month with four models. But the Google Pixel 9 lineup has been delivered to customers with Android 14 beta.
According to the Android Authority report the Android 15 hasn’t rolled out for the update of the Google Pixel series next month. So, this indicates that the Android 15 is still in the works, that’s why there is a delay in the update of the latest beta version.
A source reveals that the instability of Android 15 is one of the biggest reasons for the delay. The team is working to improve stability before the boost in Pixel models, which is expected to be released in the middle of October.
However, Google plans to launch Android 15 Source Code (ASOP) next week. That would lead to a 30-day gap between the source code and Pixel update release due to delay. The unusual difference would be noted between devices receiving their OTA update and the source code of the Android 15 release.
Additionally, the final Android 15 update features private space, a new volume panel, lock screen widgets, and more for the public.
