Anthropic, an Artificial Intelligence developer company introduced the latest version of Claude 3.5 Sonnet. This upgraded AI model delivers a new “Computer Use” tool in a public beta.
Computer use available on the API can take complete control over your computer and work like humans do. Claude can look at the computer screen, move the mouse cursor automatically, and type text similar to people.
According to the blog post, Anthropic shared with Tech Crunch.
“We trained Claude to see what’s happening on a screen and then use the software tools available to carry out tasks. When a developer tasks Claude with using a piece of computer software and gives it the necessary access, Claude looks at screenshots of what’s visible to the user, then counts how many pixels vertically or horizontally it needs to move a cursor in order to click in the correct place.”
The company stated that the first-stage AI model is experimental- “at times cumbersome and error-prone”. It released the upgraded Claude 3.5 Sonnet early for developers’ feedback and wants to improve the features as soon as possible.
Major companies, including Asana, Canva, Cognition, DoorDash, Replit, and The Browser Company, are already partnering with Anthropic to experience the new AI model Claude technology. (Reported by Anthropic)
Additionally, Anthropic announced that the new Claude 3.5 Sonnet is available for all users. Early users can review the Claude as the best and most flexible AI model. You can enable and disable the “Computer Use” based on your work necessities. This AI model is available on the Anthropic API, Amazon Bedrock, and Google Cloud’s Vertex AI.
