Apple introduced a new iPhone 16 model in a press release on September 9, Monday. The latest iPhones have iOS 18 beta with Apple Intelligence, larger display screens, an Action button, Camera Control, and better battery life.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman also posted on X about iPhone 16 models, “I expect the touch sensitive camera button to be on all iPhone 16 models tomorrow. The slimmer bezels on the Pro line are noticeable, as are battery life improvements. I don’t expect the Pro entry price to be raised from $999. Big focus will be on AI & A18 chip across the board.”

In addition to the upgraded features of iPhone 16 models, Apple revealed changes discussed below.

1. Apple Intelligence

The iPhone 16 lineup, along with Apple Intelligence, maintains the privacy and security of user data. It helps as a personal assistant to simplify and simulate everyday tasks.

2. Larger Displays and Ceramic Shield

iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max debut with larger displays than its predecessor. The size available for iPhone 16 Pro is 6.3 inches and iPhone 16 Pro Max is 6.9 inches. Ceramic Shield is 2x tougher and stronger than glass or any other smartphone cover on the iPhone front.

3. Battery Life and Camera Control

The new larger batteries are customized for the iPhone 16 lineup to offer a huge leap in battery life. Moreover, the new Camera Control button helps to capture photos, videos, and camera settings like zoom, exposure, or depth by simply sliding on it. The user can capture photos within 12 megapixels to 48 megapixels.

Therefore, the price availability of iPhone 16 models for US citizens are

  • iPhone 16 from $799 (128 GB)
  • iPhone 16 Plus from $899 (128 GB)
  • iPhone 16 Pro from $999 (128 GB)
  • iPhone 16 Pro Max from $1199 (256 GB)
