Apple has finally allowed developers and public beta testers to test out the much-anticipated features of Apple intelligence. On Monday, the tech giant seeded iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1 with the candidate versions, which came after a week when Apple seeded the seventh beta.

If you are a developer, you can download the latest candidate builds right now through your phone settings. However, if you want to test out Apple intelligence features you would still be required to have any of the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 16, or an iPad powered by an Apple Silicon chip.

The current Apple intelligence features that are available to test out right now would be the following:-

  • Writing tools

Apple intelligence makes it possible to edit and select text available anywhere. It can be put to many uses like summarizing, spell checking, fixing grammar, fixing or rewriting with a new tone.

  • Siri

Siri has a new design along with a subtle glow around the display. With Apple intelligence, you can now even write commands to Siri. It also lets you keep scrolling or typing as you speak.

  • Smart replies

With smart replies, you will be able to respond to emails and text messages quickly with the suggested replies.

  • Photos

You can create a memory movie with a brief description. It also lets you find photos and videos just by simply describing what you are looking for.

  • Transcription and summarization

Record, transcribe, and summarize phone calls or audio recordings.

  • AirPods

The hearing health feature is now available for testing (currently released only in the U.S. and Canada). This feature provides personalized and clinical-grade assistance.

  • Clean up

This feature lets you remove unwanted objects from your photos. It can either automatically detect unwanted objects, or you can simply remove them with a circle, tap, or a brush.

There are still many more Apple Intelligence features that the company has been teasing for a long time. Image Playground, Genmoji, and other new ‌Siri‌ features have still not been put into effect yet. With the final update coming later, we might be able to see some of these features.
