Google Tasks and Keep Extensions Now Available on Gemini on the Web

In a recent update from Google, the Tasks and Keep extensions have been added to Gemini on the web. The features of the two apps are free for everyone to be used through the AI-powered voice assistant.

When using Keep, users can conveniently create notes, edit them, or search for information within them. In the Tasks app, the to-do list can be created easily, or put reminders, or modify them when necessary. Moreover, users are getting these extensions on their Android smartphones as part of Google Workspace one.

Google goes one step ahead and has provided prompts for Notes as well. To use it, simply use ‘Create a note …’ or ‘Create a list of ….’. In fact, ask Gemini to create notes based on any recent conversation or a search topic.

For example, if you are a chef and want to add more items to a recipe, then simply input in Gemini ‘Add item 1 and item 2 to my Keto Recipe’. Gemini can also search for topics in your notes or show you a specific event that you had put as a reminder.

These Gemini AI updates are new and for now are only available in the English language, but more languages will soon be added. However, with the Tasks and Keep apps integration, users don’t have to keep swapping between apps when they can access them directly through Gemini. Needless to say, it will streamline workflow and enhance overall productivity.
