Rumor has it that Apple is cooking up a major redesign for a new “Slim” iPhone, set to debut in 2025 with the iPhone 17 lineup. This could be the biggest design shake-up since the iPhone X wowed us with OLED screens and Face ID back in 2017.
According to The Information, this sleek new iPhone might just steal the show, even though it’s likely to come with a price tag higher than the current iPhone Pro Max.
Jeff Pu from Haitong International is spilling the tea that the iPhone 17 models will sport a fresh look with a smaller Dynamic Island. It’s 6.55 inches, according to another tech guru, Ross Young. Either way, it’s going to be a very slim and good-looking device.
Apple is still playing around with a few design options for this high-end model. Think aluminum frame, smaller holes for the front camera, and cameras mounted in the center at the back. Supply chain expert Ming-Chi Kuo suggests we might see an upgrade in battery tech with a stainless steel case that could be rolled out across all models by 2025.
This isn’t Apple’s first venture into slim territory. The ultra-thin iPad Pro passed YouTube’s bend tests with flying colors, and now we’re hoping this new iPhone will be just as durable – ready to survive your purse or pocket without a hitch.
