Hi Fi Rush Bought by Krafton

The good news for Hi-Fi Rush fans is that Krafton, the South Korean publishers of PubG, and The Callisto Protocol owned the Tango Gameworks, makers of Hi-Fi Rush.

In May, Microsoft officially announced that it had closed three Bethesda studios, including Tango Gameworks, Redfall developer Arkane Austin, and Mighty Doom developer Alpha Dog Studios. This news critically impacted the fans of Hi-Fi Rush and the gaming community as it received many prestigious awards.

Thankfully, Krafton declared the news in a press release, “intends to collaborate with Xbox and ZeniMax to ensure a smooth transition and maintain continuity at Tango Gameworks, allowing the talented team to continue developing the Hi-Fi Rush IP and explore future projects.” Krafton added that it “intends to support the Tango Gameworks team to continue its commitment to innovation and delivering fresh and exciting experiences for fans.”

In addition, Tango Gameworks doesn’t dissatisfy its fans through the shifting from Microsoft to Kraftson. The catalog remains the same including The Evil Within, The Evil Within 2, GhostWire: Tokyo, and the Hi-Fi Rush game.

Moreover, Hi-Fi Rush gained two million players after its release in 2023. The rhythm action game was a success after surprisingly being released through Microsoft’s Game Pass subscription. After incredible success, Tango Gameworks stands out in the world of dark, violent, and horror games.

Therefore, Krafton wants to expand its global reach by incorporating Hi-Fi Rush IP and Tango Gameworks, which are dedicated to expanding and delivering high-quality content. The collaboration with Tango Gameworks also enhances Krafton’s mission to push the boundaries of the gaming industry.
