Samsung has confirmed which older Galaxy devices will receive the One UI 6.1.1 update, which includes several AI upgrades. If you have a Galaxy S22, S23, or S24 series phone, you’re in luck.

These devices are all set to receive the new update. This also includes Samsung’s foldable phones from the past two years and two generations of tablets.

The One UI 6.1.1 update is thought to be the reason for the delay of One UI 7. This is because of the many AI updates packed into it.

Samsung’s latest foldables are now receiving the new update, and the company has confirmed that other devices will follow suit.Social media tipster Tarun Vats shared Samsung’s confirmation of the supported devices on X.

According to the post, the update should be available to owners of the Galaxy S22, Galaxy 23 (including the S23 FE), and Galaxy S24 series devices. Samsung’s previous foldable devices, including the Galaxy Z Flip 4, Flip 5, Fold 4, and Fold 5, are also eligible.

The One UI 6 update will also be available for tablets in the Tab S8 and Tab S9 series.Additionally, Samsung verified a few AI-supported camera features for older smartphones.

New features like Portrait Studio and Sketch to Image will come to older phones via the software update.

Users will be able to change the appearance of photos with different styles like “comic,” “3D character,” “watercolor,” and more. Sketch to Image will let users draw on a photo while the AI brings it to life.
