Information is reportedly emerging regarding the upcoming OnePlus midrange device which is supposed to be the 13 series main event. According to Android Police, leaked images from the Chinese Weibo leaker Digital Chat Station (DCS) show that there are several modifications for the OnePlus 13R.
The sources have focused that the midrange smartphone will feature a ceramic body which will be the first one for OnePlus’ more affordable line. As DCS notes this material was earlier specially reserved for the best models that had higher craftsmanship.
DCS reports that the device will mirror its more advanced OnePlus 13 counterpart by adopting a completely flat screen and sides. Moreover, the leaks state that the display will be safeguarded by a crystal glass shield and the publication speculates that this may imply some type of ceramic protection although confirmation about the same is still pending.
The rendering also shows that the OnePlus 13R will retain its circular camera arrangement and additionally it appears to have eliminated the previous shiny metallic element that extended into the side of the device.
