Samsung has unveiled the public launch of the One UI 7 beta program showcasing an array of strong and powerful AI features, streamlined controls and a glimpse into the scalable AI ecosystem of the future.
The latest iteration represents a remarkable advancement, seamlessly combining top-tier AI agents and multimodal functionalities throughout the interface crafting an AI platform where each interaction is instinctive and fluid. The beta program offers an exciting preview of an enhanced mobile user experience, it offers unprecedented levels of personalization.
One UI 7 introduces major enhancements to Galaxy AI features that consist of sophisticated writing assistance tools, these tools are embedded with the AI OS. It empowers users to boost their productivity by allowing text selection without the hassle of switching applications.
This functionality builds upon the already impressive writing aids that are available to Galaxy users, providing AI-driven options for summarizing content, correcting spelling and grammar and effortlessly formatting notes into bullet points.
The upgraded calling features in One UI 7 redefine communication, introducing call transcripts that support 20 languages boosting connectivity like never before. With a striking new design, One UI 7’s powerful AI features are complemented by an innovative notification system that simplifies communications, it offers quick access directly from the lock screen of the device.
The Now Bar showcases pertinent activities across different functions that include Interpreter, Music, Stopwatch, Recording and much more. The official rollout of One UI 7 will begin with the upcoming Galaxy X series devices, which also consist of AI capabilities like on-device AI functions that will begin in the first quarter of 2025. In keeping with the dedication of Samsung to extend its OS upgrade policy, the update will gradually be available for other Galaxy devices. The One UI 7 beta program will be initially launched for Galaxy S24 series devices in countries like Poland, Korea, India, Germany, the U.K. and the U.S. beginning on 5 December.
