Without a doubt, AI technology is incredible, but it still has a long way to go before it can fully replace humans.
Let me present you with several scenarios, and after reading them, you will be convinced that AI will never be able to completely replace humans.
We already know that AI can think, but what I am about to tell you is that this is only partially correct. When we say “thinking,” we usually mean when we calculate something in our minds or produce something that could be considered thinking but is not.
Assume someone asks you what you ate last night, your answer should be based on your memory.
In that case, you are not thinking, but rather memorizing and attempting to find your answer in a given set of data, just like the AI.
Artificial intelligence is not in today’s world, which means it cannot create new data on its own, but it can repeat or rearrange existing data and present it in front of you.
This is the exact reason why AI cannot be more creative than humans, at least for the time being.
So it is obvious that in several job professions, such as teachers or top-level executives, humans will never be able to replace them because it is extremely difficult for AI to think up to the point where it can form New Creative Solutions.
For the time being, humans are safe because AI cannot think that much, and we do not know when I will gain this ability and when it will actually begin to think.
